As a College of Business Recruitment Ambassador for the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, I tour prospective students, represent the University at info sessions and open houses, and build relationships with students who are currently making the biggest decision they’ve ever had to make for their futures…ever. I also have the privilege of serving on the executive team as COBRA’s Director of Marketing.
The Journey to COBRA
I’m a people person; what can I say? I wouldn’t be who I am today without the mentors who have shaped me along the way. Because of this knowledge I so wisely learned at the end of my freshman year of college, my goal for my sophomore year was to get involved in ways I could give back to the people and organizations that formed me. COBRA is one of my favorite ways to do just that.
My Why
If you’ve ever been to the special little city of Clemson, you know that the feeling of joy and support you get is indescribable, but can often be tied back to the people you meet here. For me, a large handful of those people who impacted my life lie in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. Best friends, Peers, and Professors… they’re all here. They taught me that work doesn’t have to be something you dread, but instead, it can be driven by passion and purpose and something you look forward to. Why wouldn’t I want to share this school with prospective students who just might benefit from it as much as I have?
